TWILIGHTS AND BEERCANS!

Opening Day is behind us and the Twilight and Beercan races have begun on Wednesdays and Thursdays, respectively!  Online registration is available by clicking on the "ON THE WATER" tab above, then selecting "Online Registration".  As usual, the after-race Barbecue begins at 1800 hours....click HERE to view the menu!

Please keep in mind that with the progress of the Lower Bay dredging project (see more info on the project below), some courses may be altered or races cancelled, depending on the placement of equipment in the Bay.  Safety must be our first criteria for all decisions.

Have a potential member to sponsor....?

The Board of Directors approved to extend the program, where you will receive one month of complementary dues, if you sponsor a member before the end of June.  Click HERE for information on the process of sponsoring members...which is your privilege!

Lower Bay Dredging Update as of May 11 ...

The City is now dredging the Lower Bay.  We will keep you advised of the progress here on the homepage.  Click HERE for the most recent update on the project from the Harbor Resources Manager, Chris Miller, and click HERE for a map of the project, which will be constantly updated as the work progresses.

Cruisers' Whites Cove Work Party ... this weekend, May 18 - 20

The final work party of the season is traditionally hosted by the Cruisers.  It is our last chance to get the Station ready for Opening Day, so all hands are needed!  Click HERE for the informational flyer on this important weekend.   Again, non-Cruisers are invited....let Pattii know if you will be there so we can include you in the lunch count!

OPENING DAY 2012 NOW IN THE HISTORY BOOKS....

The weather could not have been better and the crowd more festive, as Commodore Judi Gorski officially opened BYC for its 90th year!  Check out the photos below that were taken throughout the day, courtesy of Mary Longpre'.  Congratulations to OD Chairs Irene Ziebarth and Doug West and their Committee for putting on one of the best Opening Days yet!
