Balboa Yacht Club

Club Info

Founded in 1922, the Balboa Yacht Club is one of the oldest clubs on the Pacific Coast. The club, with its beautiful setting in Newport harbor, is widely recognized as one of the premier yachting facilities on the west coast. It operates a year facility including a full service restaurant and bar.

We pride ourselves on a very active junior sailing program, commited to the Corinthian traditions of yachting.

Though we offer many social activities for our members, we are first and foremost a boating Club. Since the Club’s beginning in 1922, we have maintained a reputation as a strong contender in all sailing races and regattas in which we participate.
