Sailors must be accepted to Development/Race/High performance team to participate.
Participation with the team in SoCal regattas is expected.

Extra sessions

When we see good breeze on the forecast we will try to add extra sessions. These normally occur in the winter between November and March. They normally come with short notice. They are added to the app so you can RSVP. We use these sessions to target big breeze, big waves, or offshore shifty winds. Sailors that are 'All In' can join these sessions at no extra cost. Sessions are open to all ocean classes.

Orange Bowl

At the end of the Fall Program we send a team to the Orange Bowl Youth International Regatta, December 26th-30th in Miami. We run an information session on this regatta. Classes attending are Opti, ILCA4, ILCA6, I420, and C420. More information is also posted in our app for our program participants. Event Website

Sailors are responsible for finding their own partners. Partners are expected to train regularly as a unit to elevate performance and prepare for events. 

Practice:
Saturdays 12pm-4pm (no coach)
Sundays 11am-5pm
Mondays 4pm-7pm (until November 5th)
*No sessions the weekends we host Youth Match Race Clinics or the SCYYRA clinic weekend

Practices will in the C420 except the weekends before a Shadden Series where they will practice in CFJ. We will run I420 clinics when possible.
