BYC's Youth Match Racing Program is a selection-based training program that prepares youth sailors to compete at national and international level events. 
For all events listed in the BYC match racing calendar, teams will be selected from within the program to represent BYC. Sailors shall only represent BYC at match racing events for the duration of the program they are signed up to. 
The program trains mainly trains in Andrews 21 type boats, but may utilize other boats to prepare for specific events.

Out of SoCal Regattas

On top of our program, our Match Race team has the opportunity to race in regattas around USA and internationally. These regattas come at an additional cost to the program fees. We have a funding scheme through Team BYC so all sailors representing the team will have standardized coaching fees per day.
